99 because, the endeavour is to make Goa, 99% MORE BETTER than, what it is currently now.

The publication, aims to give you the perspective of all the news happening in Goa, from a point of view of a Goan.

Journalism in Goa is skewed towards one-sided information provision, except a couple of notable exceptions.

As an outsider, Goa is all dreamy and rosy, like a Paradise; but when you ask a common Goan resident, who does not have to do anything with what Goa stands for, the picture is completely different.

Common Goan is frustrated at scheme of things, handed out to her; suffers in silence, and cannot do anything, not even properly voice her anguish.

99 Goa stands for the common aboriginal Goan. And aims to be their voice of their anguished thoughts, which they want to express, but do not have proper outlet (Herald Goa is an exception).
