A Funeral and a Wedding : UDHR shows the path towards Jurisprudence.
Vikat Bhagat is enjoying a day out, attending his sister's wedding; while Danielle McLaughlin lies in a cold grave.
Vikat Bhagat was granted bail on 22nd February 2024 by High Court, an interim, one day one; so that he could attend his sister's wedding ceremony, under Police Escort.
Right now, as this post is being written to be published; Vikat Bhagat is enjoying the festivities of his sister's wedding today and Danielle McLaughlin is lying 6 feets under, in a cold, dark grave.
Universal Declaration of Human Rights
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is a milestone document in the history of humanity and human kind.

Drafted by representatives with different legal and cultural backgrounds from all regions of the world, the Declaration was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in Paris on 10 December 1948 (General Assembly resolution 217 A) as a common standard of achievements for all peoples and all nations.
It sets out, for the first time, fundamental human rights to be universally protected.
The Article 11 of UDHR says :
Everyone charged with a penal offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defence.
Ironically, The Article 11 has been universally cited as a defence by almost all the Criminals who have committed, the most ghastly inhuman crimes, ever witnessed in history. Even those who could be summarily addressed as "Inhuman" and thus cease to have any rights due to the nature of their crimes committed.
Article 11 becomes their shield, under which they try to claim all the concessions and liberties, which otherwise should have been denied to them, for the very inhuman acts, they have committed, which goes utterly against the tenets of UDHR.
Vikat Bhagat is one such Psycopath criminal, taking advantage of it, after brutally raping and murdering 28 Year old Danielle McLaughlin of Ireland.
Eldest of 4 Sister's and a very caring and loving daughter.

UDHR also shows the path to us, how to interpret the validity of its Article 11, when the victim's and deceased fundamental human rights have been violated first, by the so called "accused" himself.
Article 3
Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.
Article 5
No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
UDHR being a path breaking and landmark document in the history of mankind, is also a very intelligent and Commonsense filled document.
There is a reason, why Article 3 and Article 5 takes precedence over Article 11; but still the Lawyer(s) and Psychopath(s) manage to take advantage of it?
Article 3 and Article 5 lists every single basic fundamental human rights of Danielle McLaughlin, which were grossly violated by Vikat Bhagat; when he mercilessly raped her and then brutally murdered her and did not stop even then.
He hammered Danielle's face and disfigured it beyond any recognition.
So, such people should be shown leniency, citing Article 11 of UDHR?
But, then Laws are always open for interpretation, usually intelligent and Commonsense ones.
Since, Vikat Bhagat still after 6 Years and almost 8 months is still an accused and not guilty; the Defence and he himself is taking all advantage of his status quo.
But, the most prominent question which needs to be asked is, how Vikat Bhagat managed to keep this status quo?
It's purely because he himself got the trial delayed and prolonged by trying every trick in the book; with the help of his lawyer's and bought out Jail Officials of Goa Police. All these instances are amply documented in the summary and order of trial.
On, 22nd of February 2024, Vikat Bhagat was not produced before the District and Sessions Court of Margao, where the trial is undergoing. He was produced by VC by Jail Officials, but Internet Connection was down and hearing has to be adjourned.

Justice could be blind, but Justice could be prudent also.
Jurisprudence is a word we don't hear often, because for some reason. And the reason, just like laws, is open for interpretation of all.
Danielle would never get married. Danielle would never be able to attend her sisters wedding.
But, Vikat Bhagat is still merely an "accused" and hence has his rights under Article 11 of UDHR.
Danielle McLaughlin was brutally raped and murdered, and thus snatched away of her fundamental rights and now because she is "dead", she can't stand for any of her rights.
But, she still has one fundamental human right intact, the right to a fair trial and justice.
