Chala Godinho, Film Bananey : Transport Minister of Goa To Make Film On Ayodhya Temple
Probity & Accountability Mauvin Godinho Style : 286 Persons killed in 2,686 Road Accidents, in 2024. But, "Making A Movie" Supercedes The Deaths. Jai Shri Ram !
In an absolutely shocking and mind-numbing news; which makes an absolute mockery of Citizens of Goa and the Governance of State, It was reported yesterday that Transport + Panchayat Raj Minister of State, Mauvin Godinho is going to make a Movie (Film) on Ayodhya Temple. This is despite the fact that, Public Transport in State is as good as that of Bihar.
Mauvin Godinho has been the Transport Minister of Goa, since March 2022 and the Common Citizens of the State, who travel by Kadamba or Private Bus daily, would vouch for his professionalism, for sure.
In fact, he has managed to make the daily wage earners coming from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, utterly comfortable and homely from Day 1 in Goa, because this is the kind of transport system, that they are used to in their State.
At 65, It seems Mauvin Godinho is facing an existential crisis. Basically, it seems that “Mid-Life Crisis” has actually arrived late in his life; just like the Kadamba Bus.
Probably he has realised that, there is no further road to his political ambitions and the best which he could have done for the State, he has already accomplished; he could finally immortalise himself, by making a Film on Ayodhya Temple. Something which could bring him vast fame and accolades on National Level, a MLA from 2-Districts State. A giant Leap of Faith, as they say !
Road Accidents In Goa :
286 Fatalities from 2,682 Accidents in 2024. Forget about those Injured. Godinho is Son of soil, a Gaonkar. So, issues plaguing the Transport and Roads of Goa is not something with which he got familiarised with, only after becoming Transport Minister. But even then, Lets take this Report of Herald of December 2023.
Goa Police sent 2,000 recommendations regarding how to improve the Road Safety in Goa : Road engineering, widening, hot-mixing, road signage, traffic signals, speed breakers, etc. to prevent accidents. On how many, Godinho has worked so far, only Bhagwan Ram knows.
What happened of that Rs.100 Crores sanctioned for the welfare of Common Citizens of Goa and to ensure the safety of their lives in Goa, may be only Prabhu Ram knows?
The “Maajhi Bus” Scheme launched with lots of fan-fare was Dead-On-Arrival, as predicted by this publication (You can read that, in “Goa Transport” section of this publication).
The Original Scheme was scrapped, and a new one launched about a couple of months back, which again as expected was scrapped by Private Bus Owners, immediately.
Mauvin Godinho and his Movie Research Team has read 42 Historical Books and Ancient Texts in last 3 Years (Since, just after he became Transport Minister); but still Godinho could not realise that “Probity & Accountability” in Public Service Life was the Hallmark of Prabhu Ram’s governance as King.
The Deendayal Upadhyaya era Private Buses which ply on Roads of Goa would even put to shame the private buses of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The vintage buses are still passed by RTO, with Fitness Certificates issued to them, every year. How and Why? For this, we need not ask Bhagwan Ram.
It’s a Heart-Breaking sight watching School going Kids and College Students cramped like Sardines in “Maajhi Buses”, specially in Summer, which now starts from February itself.
Anyone who has visited the RTO Offices of Goa, would completely agree that entire Operation is run by TOUTS. You can get anything done with convenience (well, almost) if you are willing to shell out. The TOUT keeps 50% and RTO Officers keep the balance. Author has ample experience with Pernem RTO.
In fact, if you would see the Palatial Houses of RTO Touts of Goa, a Common Citizen shall start praying to Prabhu Ram that her or his Son should become a RTO Tout, one day.
The State of Dept Of Panchayats in Goa :
Just about 5 Days back, Village Panchayat of Assagao decided to Challenge the Order of Additional Director Of Panchayats, which over-ruled the Bardez BDO decision to deny permission of building a Compound Wall in village.
Time and Again, if not every time; When a Crony Builder is denied permissions to build Villas, Bungalows or Restaurants in Goa; they approach The Directorate of Panchayats; and the Officials there conveniently oblige them. This is when Panchayats are the Pillars of Democracy, with directly elected representatives from the Villagers. And who is the Panchayat Raj Minister : Mauvin Godinho.
But, surely a person who is deeply invoked by Life and Times of Bhagwan Shri Ram, so much that he leaves all his duties as Public Servant aside, and starts making a Movie on Lord’s Temple; is expected to know what does “Ram Rajya” meant. But then…
There are 191 Village Panchayats in State of Goa, under direct supervision of Director of Panchayats, whose Minister Godinho is. 97 in North and 94 in South Goa.
If someone asks Godinho, How many Panchayats Financial accounts have been audited (last) and what was the Finding; Most Probably he would say just “Jai Shri Ram!”, just like on BJP Minister who once when cornered recently by Citizens regarding regular extended power cuts, shouted “Jai Shri Ram!”
He would also shout “Jai Shri Ram!” probably if asked : How many Sarpanchs have submitted their Annual Financial Income Statements, last.
Directorate of Panchayats have now stopped publishing list of Defaulter Sarpanchs, who have not provided their Income Statements, when last time, this publication highlighted the same on it’s Twitter Handle. About 2 Years back.
As they say, Every Cloud has a Silver Lining. Hence, Common Citizens of Goa who pray to Bhagwan Shri Ram for their safety, whenever they leave their home to travel on Roads of Goa; must appreciate the superlative services rendered to them and his Motherland as “Protocol Minister”.
Come Rain or Shine, Winter or Summer; Godinho is always ready with a Guldasta at Dabolim Airport to welcome people. The alacrity and diligence shown by him, in this respect, must be appreciated by all and sundry.
For brevity, we have not dealt with several other things related to Minister in this post.
Taxi Issue of Goa, which is completely “Out Of Syllabus” for Godinho.
His Extra-Curricular activities, despite being a Public Servant. Some stories which have caught the fancy of almost everyone in state.
His comments on Religion, Hindu - Christianity; which could be easily queried.
Even though for someone who has been deeply invoked by Bhagwan Shri Ram, so as to make a movie on Ayodhya Temple; must know that Bhagwan Ram is still addressed as “Maryada Purushottam Ram !” . But then…
Shivaji Maharaj and Lord Parshuram have been evoked time and again in Goa by petty and small time wannabe Politicians and Politician’s Boot-lickers whose own conduct and life, is so shameful and disgusting that, if it had not been KALYUG ; Shivaji Maharaj and Lord Parshuram would not have allowed these petty people, even within 1000 Kms of their Statues and Temple. Mauvin Godinho has now upped the game.
Godinho can surely make a Movie, but not while being a Public Servant and as Minister of Transport and Panchayat Raj.
He can carry on being Protocol Minister and making fool of Citizens of Dabolim as an Elected Representative. No Problem.
Rest 39 Constituent’s Citizens of Goa want a Minister of Transport and Panchayat Raj; who truly believes In Lifes and Learnings of Bhagwan Shri Ram and conducts his life, on the same line. Ensures their Well-Being and Safety; as Maryada Purushottam Bhagwan Shri Ram would have deeply wanted.
