Goa is forced to drink High PH water from Iron Ore quarries, as rivers dry.
Complete disregard for Public health & Safety.Water stagnated in Iron Ore quarries are highly toxic and laden with chemicals and heavy metals, severely detrimental to health.

In the first semester of any Engineering Course, there is a subject being taught to all, irrespective of Branch, it is “Engineering Chemistry”. The subject deals with Engineering aspects of Chemistry; and how it holds in everyday use, so that Engineers are sensitive to basic chemical phenomena.
By all means, these stupid Engineers and officials did not test the water for it’s consumption safety, else, they would not have done so.
Generally, water stagnated in an iron ore pit may contain high levels of iron, as well as other minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and sulfur. These minerals can cause the water to have a high pH, which can make it corrosive to metal and other materials.
In addition to these natural minerals, water in an iron ore pit may also contain contaminants such as heavy metals, acids, and other pollutants that can be harmful to human health and the environment. These contaminants can come from various sources such as runoff from nearby industrial sites, agricultural activities, or urban development.
This is absolute violation of World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines for drinking-water quality.
While the water being supplied from water tankers is already not being safe, with reported cases of sewage moved in water tankers; now whatever little water which comes to the taps of a few highly fortunate Goans is highly contaminated.
