How did Goa Government managed to recruit hundreds of "Rotten Apples" as constables for Goa Police?
Goa Police Officers and IPS Officers leading them, are supposed to work with such "misfits". How would they serve the citizens of Goa, and ensure Peace and Justice?

There is an age old motivational phrase which originated from the American football parlance in the 1970s."When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Gets Going!"
But in the case of Goa Police recruits who were sent to Delhi Police Academy for basic training this month, it turns out that, "when the going gets tough, the recruits gets going!"
Apparently, the recruits were not happy at being asked to report for "Fall-In" at 0630 hrs; the tough physical and mental regime, at unarguable the best police training academy in India.
And thus, they started complaining about the lack of hygiene and improper food, to get their way out from there, and instead train at Goa Police Training School at Valpoi, where a lot of their compatriots are training.
Prima facie, those who were sent to Delhi, knew the "easy life" at Valpoi school of Goa Police, and were sore at the fact of being meted out this punishment, of getting trained at DPA.
The question which arises, how can such "misfits" have been selected at all? After all,the selection process of any Police force, mandates that, weaklings and "weeds" be thrown out. After all, it takes only one rotten apple to spoil the entire batch.
Then how did, Goa Police managed to select hundreds of rotten apples?
A simple query throws a lot of facts, about the way, the recruitment is being done at Goa Police.
None other than, Aldona MLA Mr.Carlos Ferreira himself has alleged that both the written and physical tests were rigged. People who failed to qualify the physical test, were allowed to appear for written exams, and they were passed with flying colours.
Candidates who failed to secure passing marks in the constabulary exams, passed the Police Sub-Inspector test, flying?
A 10 year old report amply highlighted, the rotten state of Goa Police Training School at Valpoi. The appalling and shameful behaviour of new recruits at Delhi, proves that status quo has remained and nothing has changed.
While the DGP Goa, Shri Jaspal Singh shared the excellent conditions at DPA, where he was in-charge earlier and trained 10,000 recruits; he did not post any update on the Valpoi training school.
The state of importance, given to Goa Police training school by the government of Goa, can be gauged by the quantum of information available on Goa Police site, regarding PTS; which drew a blank.
While most of the other states have their independent websites of Police Academies. Both Maharastra Police Academy and Karnataka Police Academy refused to train the recruits from Goa, needless to say, they knew, what hands they would be dealing with.
How can Goans hope that they would have Peace in the state and Justice shall prevail, when only rotten apples are selected, through corruption and nepotism, which serves the Politicians of the states very well.
How can Goa Police Officers and IPS Officers serve the citizens of Goa with such rotten apples?
