How Vishal Agarwal of Brahma Reality got entire Goa Government, to prostrate before himself?

The Character of a person is straight away evident from conduct of the person.
After the ghastly murder of two innocent IT Engineers from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh at Kalyani Nagar, Pune early Sunday morning on 19th May 2024; the conduct of Vishal Agarwal, the father of Vedant Agarwal is for all to see. Here, we deal with his Goa connection, in that respect.
Pernem is both a Taluka (Northern most of Goa) and a town with a Municipality.
Couple of years prior to start of Mopa International Airport in January 2023, the small town had a rustic feeling with the villages bordering it having the feel of "Sussegado" of Goa.
Simple villagers, mostly tending to their Orchards, fields and village gardens and content with their daily life, in spite of hard work and daily grind.
While the development of the Mopa Airport is itself a big contentious issue, still shimmering, the simple villagers failed to see the bigger fallout; under the guise of the most abused word in Goa, "development". This publication has written about it here, last year.

Nearby land of Pernem Town and Mopa, thousands of acres were bought by developers from around the country and the rich and mighty of the State in connivance of the TCP (Town and Country Planning) department of Goa Government. Pernem Taluka became the “Gold Rush” of Goa.
The Delta Group which runs several Casinos in the state is coming up with a Rs.3,000 Crores residential project at village Dhargal in Pernem Taluka. Someone who has visited Dhargal a few years back, can only imagine what that would mean for Pernem Taluka. All approvals (almost) was granted by Goa Government led by CM Pramod Sawant of BJP.
Now let's go back just about 12 Years back to South Goa. The Brahma Corp of Pune, the reality group, of which Vishal Agarwal is the owner; wanted to establish a floating Mini India Theme Park, with Resorts and floating cottages at the bank of Zuari at Cortalim. The total area of the project was 35,000 Sq Mts.
After a very strong and vehement protest from Local Villagers and a big fight, Movaj Enterprises, affiliated to Brahma Reality had to abandon the project.

Now if you would wonder why such a disastrous project was allowed by then Government of Goa in 2012; then please don't be so stupid to ask such a stupid question. That's what we would be coming over to finally.
Just for the fact, Manohar Parrikar led BJP won 21 Seats in the Assembly Elections of 2012 and Parrikar was sworn as Chief Minister on 9th March 2012.
For that matter, Manohar Parrikar is more than often touted as the most humble, and a great people oriented leader by the ruling party and yet the Project got cleared.
Now, let's Fast Forward to 2022. Pernem Taluka "Gold Rush" of reality contines. So much so that ruling coalition MLAs are involved in the biggest land grab scam the state of Goa has seen themselves. The Mandrem MLA Jit Arolkar, who fought on the symbol of "Burning Candle" in last Assembly Elections, but has only brought darkness to state, while enriching himself of hundreds of Crores of rupees.
With builders from everywhere vying the priced land which used to go at throwaway price of Rs.40/sq metre; now worth Rs.15,000/sq mtr due to Mopa Airport.
Brahma Corp is a reality group, strictly focussed on building dwellings and flats; Vishal Agarwal could not miss this opportunity. After all, who don't want to own a Villa or a Project, in Goa.
And Pune is just 8 Hours drive, not when you are driving a Mercedes or Porsche though.
So Vishal Agarwal and his "men" get into Top Gear, both literally and figuratively. In mid of February, Goa Government led by Pramod Sawant constitutes a 15 Member panel so that Single Window clearance could be granted to Brahma Corp for establishing "Mini India Theme Park"; as if it was a Project of National importance and without which Goa could not survive in future. In just about 13 Days the esteemed 15 Men gave all the clearance to Brahma Corp on an out of turn basis and the IPB of Goa gave clearance to Brahma Corp to establish the Theme Park at Pernem on 28th February 2023. It's amazing how Governments can act so fast.

While the "Gold Rush" continued at Pernem Taluka; the residents came to realise how the Government has fooled then, promising huge number of jobs and a better living standards, post MOPA opening and they started opposing the project.
The water and electricity woes of Pernem is known globally, specially in the Coastal Areas, which is now mushroomed with illegal constructions, again with the connivance of local governance official of the ruling party of BJP.
"Locals of Pernem say that the government, after showing carrots of employment, is now once again trying to fool the people of Pernem taluka by forcing another mega project on them in the form of ‘Mini-India Theme Park’ (‘Mini India project’), which was earlier rejected by Quelossim and Bogmalo locals."
"The government has given the go-ahead to Pune-based real estate firm Bramha Corp to set up the project on private land measuring 97,224 sq mts in Survey Nos 310/0 and 311/0 in municipal jurisdiction. As per Regional Plan and the present zoning, the land is in irrigation command area."

Now the project was cleared but the biggest hurdle still remained because the Mini India Theme Park, supposed to come, was ona private land, and thus had to abide by the local Panchayat rules.
Since the local residents were already opposing the project tooth and nail; there came once again a Master Stroke by Pramod Sawant government to help Brahma Corp.
"The Goa Investment Promotion Board, which granted the in-principle approval for the project on February 28, has now moved to declare the private land as an investment promotion area.
Once declared, local panchayat rules, including collection of house tax and trade licence, will cease to apply to the project."

While anyone who has been a regular to Goa, since last few years could even tell blindly, that there is no regards to Environment absolutely by the cronies of the capitalist; the learned Environmentalists concern of Leopards being cited in the same area was stomped down.

While one can argue that "Mini India Theme Park" of Brahma Corp was a project of National importance, which could have catapulted Goa to the stature of Paris and New York; and the 8th Wonder of Modern World being built there by Vishal Agarwal; and hence such a fast and Swift "ALL CLEAR" by Sawant and Mauvin Godinho to the project; the conduct of Vishal Agarwal post the murder of Ashwini and Anish by his son at Kalyani Nagar, Pune throws it out of window.
Vishal Agarwal is a brazen and filthy rich person, who has no regards of law of any kind and is not worth even being called of as a Citizen of India. He knows that he could muscle his way across to anywhere from Pune to Goa, because people are willing to prostrate before him for money.
1. Bought Porsche Taycan, and did not register it, even after RTO Pune inspection and it was driving on the roads since March this year.
2. His son being a minor, did not have a license for driving the car, yet it was handed over.
3. He knew, his son is an alcoholic, yet allowed him to drive.
4. Brought his local Stooge MLA Sunil Tingre of Ajit Pawar Camp of NCP, right after the incident at Yerwada Police Station to influence the police officials of Yerwada Police Station.
5. Reportedly, Pizza and Burgers were served by the obliged Police Officials to Vedant Agarwal and being tired after the murder, he was allowed to sleep in comfort; while Pune Police quizzed the friends and complaints unnecessarily.
6. All arrangements done, so that Juvenile Justice Board could pass the most hilarious and ridiculous order in favour of his son. It's take a stupid only to not realise that, it was done under duress or was an act of commission.
7. Fleeing away and trying to hoodwink the Police of Pune; be sending one vehicle to Goa and one to Goa; while travelling in a rented car to Aurangabad.
8. His Son splurged Rs.48,000 in just about 90 minutes on drinks at just one pub. So unlimited access to money.
So, here is the conduct of Vishal Agarwal of Brahma Reality and Brahma Corp; even an insane person could have now easily comprehended how Pramod Sawant and Mauvin Godinho prostrated in front of him to clear his project and Why?
Goa is now ruled by the breed of people, who should be ashamed of calling themselves an aboriginal and son of the soil. But then, when Money and Politics is combined, there is no shame.
Daily incidents of apathy towards the ordinary common people of India by the BJP ruled, Pramod Sawant led Government of Goa, totally in favour of whoever can feed them most money, is rife with examples.
Land Conversions, Illegal Constructions, Double Tracking Project, Bridges and Roads for Coal Transportation; list goes on and on.

This not a promotional post. Don't get guided by the rosy picture of Goa painted by the Stooges who have their own axe to grind; the rubbish is visible at every nook and corner here; the hearts and minds of the rulers.
The Rich from everywhere in the country are getting richer in Goa, while the common man, the aboriginals are getting squashed, everyday.

Brahma Corp is the entity which is developing Mini India Theme Park at Pernem Taluka of Goa; and in now way associated with Brahma Reality or Vishal Agarwal.
Though, the questions raised in 90% of the post, still remains.
