"If I cant have my son, you won't have either!" : Suchana Seth Story
Not confessing to her ghastly crime is a calculated move on her part to get her entire story out, through persons involved in it!
In the swift manner Suchana was apprehended by Goa Police, this felt like in judicial custody, she would soon confess of the ghastly crime and bring an end to this tragic story.
But as mentioned in yesterday's article, it is proving right that she is not the type of person, who would surrender and she has not indeed till now!
Guilt and remorse comes when you believe that what you have done was wrong and should not have done it. Specially in cases, where a crime has been unintentionally committed at the spur of moment, in a fit of rage.
Here, it seems Suchana has been pondering over the future of her life, without her son for a very long time. A media report mentions her last Instagram post with a pic of her deceased son with hashtag #whatwillhappen .
She knew her financial and professional strength had been depleted and would go against severely in her custodial battle with her husband, for her son! This is despite the fact, she suffered the most and sacrificed her stellar career and other professional dreams by giving birth to her son and raising him for 4 years.
Even after sacrificing almost the entire work of her life, and losing the child also, would have been weighing a lot on her mind. As mentioned in the first article of this series, Suchana was struggling a lot professionally, with her dream company abruptly shut. Why it got shut down all of a sudden, no information is forthcoming.
While the judgement on custody of the child was supposed to be delivered yesterday, it was all clear for Suchana, a brilliant Physicist and Data Scientist, that it was all over for her and a mere formality was left!
We do not know the details of the custodial case proceedings but the lawyer for her husband would have stressed heavily on her dwindling finances and rocky professional life, of past few years; arguing her incapacity to raise a child effectively in a city like Bangalore.
When everything seems to be going in vain, life's work and all the sacrifices; the thought which must have crossed her mind would be "If I cant have my son, you also won't have it either." And she decided to write her own destiny, without waiting for a ruling, just before the ruling.
Silence has its own imperative advantages in cases like these, where the guilty is made to to look like guilty, but is NOT in a straight black&white manner.
Yes, she indeed kill her son, for which she would get punished , after only being convicted; but what lead her to do that; would never come out if she confessed.
Being guilty and being a murderer both?
She is innocent (as a Murderer) until proven guilty with valid evidence, material and witness.
But is she alone guilty for the untimely tragic death of a 4 year old boy?
Thus, she has decided to keep quiet proclaiming her innocence , putting all the onus on Goa Police; to fish out the entire story.
And the entire story means, her fights and struggles and sacrifices she made. The losing battle for her son and by all means, no tangible emotional support from near and dear ones; which could have forbidded her to act so ghastly and inhumane.
The decision to bear a child after 9 years of marriage, sacrificing her career, seems to be a last ditch attempt by her to mend a broken relationship and keep the marriage intact. When this last ditch attempt also failed, it would have broken her!
Not confessing straight away, is a very calculative and smart move by Suchana, to ensure all her struggles and sacrifices come out in the open, from the other parties involved.
Post confession statements are often construed as an attempt to give a lame justification for the crime committed.
The entire story needs to come out!
