Who was the person that died, at the illegal Bullfight in Benaulim on Monday?
Goa Police and family claims Jenito Vaz died at home while feeding bull. Then who was the person gored at arena by two fighting bulls? Political masters silent.
On Monday, the 15the of January a 41 Year old resident of Fatarde-Varca lost his life at the hands of a fighter Bull. The Bull gored him in his chest and post-mortem shows his heart was pierced by the horns of the said bull.
The family was quick to make a statement to Goa Police, that Jenito died at home, while feeding his bull, who suddenly attacked him.
Newspaper of yesterday and today are filled with Obituaries of Jenito Francisco Vaz, a much loved man indeed in and around his village. Even the local MLA expressed grief in one of the obituary.
Even before the Viral video of a bullfight which took place the same day, showing a bull, badly mauling and probably killing a person could surface (which was then deleted) another case of "Unnatural Death" was filed by Goa Police and the case was almost closed. Had it not been for that video.
After the viral video was plastered all over the Social Media (since then, taken down at someone's behest), Goa Police was compelled to file a FIR against "Unknown People" for causing cruelty to animal and causing death due to negligence.

The question no one is asking: if Jenito Vaz died at home; then who was the person who got gored in the arena of bullfight? Did he survived or got killed?
Hundreds of people gather at one location, for a bull fight; like almost the entire village and surrounding area residents know, that a Bull fight is happening; reach there; but Goa Police's Colva Police Station is completely under the dark.
This fact is too hard to digest for a common sane person. Also, do these hundreds of people gathered just on the word of mouth; when keeping 2 smart phones is common in Goa?
Also, the timing of the viral video being surfacing almost simultaneously; as the news of the Jenito's demise gaining ground all over. Just too much of a random coincidence, Goa Police would say.
It has been reported in the media that eyewitnesses saw Vaz being carried to a private hospital in a vehicle belonging to a vendor who is used to having stalls at bullfight.
It is ironical that even food stall vendors had news of the event being organised and prepared themselves, but Colva Police Inspector, Therron D Costa was too preoccupied with other pressing matters and so does the rest of the staff which he commands.
If they were aware, but instead chose to turn their eyes and ears closed, which is a common phenomenon with Goa Police, wherever monetary transactions are concerned? Just like in North Goa, coastal belts, where the parties play loud music till wee hours, in close proximity to other inhabitants at Max volume, but it's only the Goa Police which cannot hear them.
Going by the obituary, Jenito Vaz was a very popular figure in local community and a sports afficanado. He was also himself raising a bull, for what purpose, is anyone's guess. Probably farming?
When every Time Dick and Harry was present to witness and bet on the bullfight, Jenito chooses to spend the time, feeding and taking care of his bull?
This is also too hard to digest. Like no one, among hundreds of his friends implored him to come to the event and at least witness it, if not take part it?
Local MLA from Benaulim, Venzi Viegas is himself known to be a proponent of Bullfights; and also expressed grief at the Vaz demise in one of the obituary.
Such illegal Bullfights, on which High Court of Bombay at Goa has already ruled, cannot take place without tacit support of local politicians and thus the support of local Goa Policemen.
For such politicians, these events are a good rally points to garner more supporters, be it those who organise such fights or the spectators. Except the Bull. Organisers and those who bet on these Bullfights, then overtly or covertly support these politicians in their campaigns and agendas.
Going by the complete silence of Venzy Viegas, when his supremo Arvind Kejriwal of Aam Aadmi Party, on the death of Vaz and the bullfight in his constituency; one can just add 2 and 2 and it results in 5.
Surprisingly, Goa Police took the cognisance of the statement of Vaz's family members and filed an "Unnatural Death" case; the viral video is still being investigated and no one has a clue as in who was the person who have been griveously mauled by the Bull, in that video. Perhaps , it is a case of natural death for Goa Police?
There could be clear tell tale signs.
Location is clearly visible in the video, if the Bull fight clearly took at that place (or not, that has to be also investigated), there would be several clues. Most importantly, people residing in neighbourhood. But it has been already decided that Jenito died at his home's Bullshed by Goa Police, by all means under instructions.
Because,if this can of worms opens up, many influential and political figures would be caught rotten and then they would spill the beans on local police officials as well. Notwithstanding, this is purely illegal event.
Goa Police once again is caught on the wrong foot , in order to please their masters. Political and Financial, both.
Not their fault it seems, so far no death has been reported in an illegal Bullfights and was well for all. No one expected the Bull to barge into the audience, or those who were trying to be too Macho for a sad captive animal, raised only to bleed them and earn illegal money.
