Pooja and Pinto remain untraceable by Goa Police, Assagao investigation in limbo.
Pooja Sharma has filed anticipatory bail please in High Court and Goa Police is playing along, even original landowner Mr.Chrys Pinto is not being called for questioning in Assagao Demolition Case.
The Assagao House Demolition occurred on 22nd June 2024, a Saturday; an incident which sparked severe outrage from all corners of Goa.
The burgeoning questions remains, which as of now seems difficult, that they would be answered. The case seems to be going to cold storage, like Banastarim Accident of last August, which was also transferred to Crime Branch for thorough investigation after huge outrage, but the Chargesheet, is yet to be filed.
1. Where is Chrys Pinto, the original landowner?
While Goa Police has failed to trace Ms.Pooja Sharma so far and has shown great generosity towards her, Goa Police (Crime Branch, which is now leading the investigation) is also clueless about the original landowner, Mr.Chrys Pinto, who sold the land and house to Ms.Sharma.
Mr.Chrys Pinto who could have put away a lot of ambiguities away from the whole saga, is AWOL since beginning.
a) Did he took Rs.16 Lac from the Agarwadekars, as they alleged for the house and land?
b) How did he agreed for such a small sum, when he sold the land later for Rs.1.7 Crores?
c) Were the Agarwadekars defrauded by Chrys Pinto, on false promises, which amounts to cheating?
d) How did the transaction between Mr.Pinto and Ms.Sharma culminated? In tranches? Through cash or Cheque or Bank Transfer?
e) Did he inform Agarwadekars of the land deal, or took the money and vanished, forcing Ms.Sharma to employ ulterior means?
f) Did Mr.Pinto apprised Ms.Sharma about the tenancy of Agarwadekars on the house, before the transaction? If yes, what did he say?
g) Or did Mr.Pinto managed to gain monetary advantages from both Agarwadekars and Ms.Sharma; withholding the truth from both of them?
2. When did Agarwadekars learnt that the property has changed the hands?
While the case has come to fore, when the demolition was being carried out in a brazen and illegal manner, were the Agarwadekars clueless about the change in ownership of land?
Specially when, they have been summoned by Goa Police , when the land grabbing complaint was filed by lawyer of Ms.Sharma and the meeting took place in the presence of PI Anjuna and SDPO Mapusa?
a) Did Agarwadekars tried to confirm from Mr.Chrys Pinto about the same? And if yes, what was the end result?
b) Did they try to negotiate with Ms.Pooja Sharma through her lawyer or some other intermediary?
c) Was the Bulldozer activity a result of the fact that Agarwadekars failed to get intimidated by Goa Police meetings? Did someone offered them tacit support?
d) Did Ms.Pooja Sharma through her lawyer or intermediary made a last ditch offer to Agarwadekars, before Bulldozer ran amock?
e) All this while, was Mr.Chrys Pinto totally ignorant of what is being unfolded?
f) Why Goa Police did not call Mr.Chrys Pinto as well and made him face Agarwadekars with valid documents, when they were called for land grabbing complaint investigation? Seems natural. Only Ms.Sharma lawyer was present.
These are just some of the questions, which pertains prior to Pre-Bulldozer activity; which are very crucial to understand the whole scheme of things. Who was wronged and by whom and how?
And this cannot be accomplished unless and until Ms.Pooja Sharma and Mr.Chrys Pinto are traced and brought for questioning by Goa Police; of which they so far, has shown complete lack of intent.
