United Kingdom should immediately stop the "back-door entry" of Goans, through Portuguese Passport.
Justice Denied. Entry Denied. 99% of Goans who procure a Portuguese Passport, move to United Kingdom and live in Swindon and London outskirts, doing menial jobs.

The UK is the preferred destination for Goans who apply for Portuguese passport. They prefer to change their nationality in order to access the UK rather than having to apply for a work permit to the UK as an Indian citizen, a cumbersome process that would mean, in all probability, the application being rejected.
Portugal was the first Western country to colonise parts of India (Goa, from 1510) and the last to leave (in 1961). The
Under Portuguese law, those born in its erstwhile colonies before liberation, can get the country’s citizenship, and this facility is available till the third generation. Majority of the Goans, take the back-route to UK, via Portuguese Passport, as it is much more convenient.
Using Portugal’s nationality law, which allows anyone born before December 19, 1961 (the date of Goa’s liberation from Portugal) and their three generations to acquire Portuguese nationality, thousands have migrated and settled in Britain, mainly in Swindon and London.
According to an Oxford analysis, the “India-born Portuguese citizens” accounted for just over 20,000 UK residents in the first quarter of 2015. Calling it “backdoor entry” into Britain, groups such as Migration Watch UK have opposed their migration.
All such persons are origins from the state of Goa in India, which ranks lowest in terms of justice as per the India Justice Report.
Having personally in the knowledge of few cases, where Goans got a Portuguese Passport and then moved to UK, are currently residing in London outskirts. And these Goans do not bring any skill-set to United Kingdom, and are engaged in low menial jobs; bringing no economic benefit to UK.
Danielle McLaughlin who was brutally raped and even more brutally murdered has been under trial for 6 Years and more, while the accused a Goan local Vikat Bhagat, has been conveniently lodged under Central Jail, Colvale, with the Jailor providing him all possible convenience and help, in order to have a comfortable stay and evade justice.
The accused being represented by an influential lawyer, has been evading even appearance in the court, on flimsy pretexts like "lack of police escort". And this is not an isolated incident but, it has now happened for the 7th consecutive time.
This in spite of meeting of Senior diplomats from both United Kingdom (Danielle McLaughlin had a British passport as well) and Ireland (The country to which she belonged).
Justice denied, Entry denied.
This shall ensure that, no other Danielle McLaughlin from United Kingdom shall suffer the same fate.
When the Government of Goa does not respect the victim family's pleas and tears; nor they do have respect for the diplomats of United Kingdom and Ireland; why should Goans should be allowed a "back-door" entry in the United Kingdom through Portuguese Passport?
